Juneteenth commemorates the day when all enslaved people in the United States were actually emancipated. It has been a long-standing holiday celebrated only in African American communities across the country, until it became an official federal holiday in June 2021. Freedom Fest aims to bring together Americans of all ethnicities, in celebration of this monumental part of American history! There will be Family Arts & Crafts, Exercise for all, Children’s Story Time, Dance, Fashion Show and Music.
